About The Position

Responsible for activities associated with picking and shipping orders to members’ homes and businesses. The role uses digital handheld devices to locate and pick merchandise from the selling floor, verifies items with an RF scanner, packs orders securely, and prepares shipments. Duties include assembling boxes, moving supplies and merchandise with carts or material-handling equipment, shrink-wrapping and labeling pallets, printing shipping documents, and assisting with carrier pickups and truck loading. The position requires frequent lifting and working to meet productivity and service-level expectations.

The role also involves communicating inventory, equipment, and replenishment needs; handling returns, damaged goods, and spoiled products according to standard procedures; and maintaining a clean, organized SFC area. Team members follow club policies and operating procedures, provide friendly member service, work collaboratively, and may perform duties in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; lifting and moving objects over 50 pounds may be required with assistance.
• Ability to move about continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Use a digital handheld device to locate and pick merchandise orders from the selling floor, and use an RF scanner to verify merchandise.
• Build boxes, securely package orders, shrink-wrap packages, move merchandise to the staging area, and prepare pallets for transport.
• Print shipping labels and related documents, label pallets, and assist with loading and carrier pickups.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs.
• Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and deadlines.
• Follow operational processes and established SOPs for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized SFC area; remove trash and cardboard and handle damaged or spoiled products according to SOPs.
• Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Deliver friendly service, help resolve member concerns, and contribute to a safe and positive environment.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
