About The Position

Responsible for general warehouse activities and digital order fulfillment at BJ’s Wholesale Club. The role involves pulling merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and counts with a handheld scanner, moving merchandise to staging areas, and operating equipment. The position supports digital initiatives including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. Team members are expected to provide friendly service, follow club policies and procedures, contribute to a safe and inclusive environment, and meet productivity and service-level requirements. The work includes keeping the OMNI storage and staging areas clean and organized, packaging orders securely, handling returns and damaged or spoiled products, and helping in other departments as needed. The position requires regular, predictable, full attendance.

Requirements

• Previous order-pulling experience preferred.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to meet OMNI productivity expectations, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and use a handheld RF scanner to select and verify orders.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and update merchandise locations as needed.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs to the appropriate team members.
• Coordinate with the team to retrieve merchandise from the reserve area when possible.
• Pick orders promptly and meet productivity, performance, and service-level requirements and deadlines.
• Follow operating procedures and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how they should be handled, including through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
• Provide friendly service, address or escalate member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive member experience.
• Work collaboratively, support inclusion and diversity, and contribute to daily club standards.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
