About The Position

Select and gather products for customers’ online orders efficiently while ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers’ cars at pickup. Provide a positive customer service experience and demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. The role includes working as an in-store grocery shopper and supporting the e-commerce team.

Requirements

Ability to work without supervision.
Ability to read shelf tags.
Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction.

Responsibilities

Initiate and complete product selection for customers’ online orders, following order notes and ensuring quality and freshness.
Receive orders from the Order Selector according to guidelines and store products in appropriate temperature zones.
Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
Assemble orders, process coupons and payments through the point-of-sale system, and communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
Retrieve orders from staging locations, verify accuracy, and load them into customers’ cars.
Communicate with customers using a portable phone and respond professionally and promptly.
Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
Follow local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, company guidelines, and substitution policies.
Maintain organized and clean staging areas and equipment; inspect equipment and report repair needs to the Pick-Up supervisor or store management.
Report pricing, scanning, item-location, and invalid-temperature-type discrepancies to the store e-Commerce supervisor.
Perform required opening and closing procedures.
Assist with training new e-Commerce team members and meet or exceed productivity standards.
Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively.
Handle customer and business information honestly and with integrity; follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
Provide direct support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
