About The Position

This is a hands-on server hardware and break/fix role providing on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, replace, and maintain server hardware in a data center, field service, or customer-facing environment. Prior AI experience is not required; experience with enterprise servers and data center hardware is the priority. The role involves installing, removing, replacing, repairing, and configuring server components; rack-and-stack work, server installation, and cabling; troubleshooting hardware, BIOS and firmware, operating systems, and diagnostic tools; and performing firmware and BIOS updates using server management platforms. The engineer performs reactive break/fix and preventive maintenance according to established procedures, works with customers and internal technical teams to resolve service issues, documents service activities, and escalates complex issues as appropriate. Participation in on-call rotations and extended coverage is required as needed.
