About The Position

This is a hands-on server hardware and break/fix role providing on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware. The successful candidate will have direct experience diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and maintaining enterprise server hardware in a data center, field service, or customer-facing environment. Prior AI experience is not required; strong experience with enterprise servers and data center hardware is the priority. The role includes diagnosing server hardware failures and system issues, performing hardware installation and repairs, and carrying out rack-and-stack, cabling, server deployment, and hardware configuration. The engineer troubleshoots server hardware, BIOS and firmware, operating systems, and diagnostics; performs updates; and uses server management tools such as Dell iDRAC or comparable platforms. Work includes reactive break/fix service and preventive maintenance under established procedures, customer and internal-team communications, accurate service documentation, escalation of complex issues, and participation in on-call rotations with extended coverage as required. The role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology. Applicants should be eligible for any required U.S. Government authorizations. Unisys is an equal opportunity employer and provides an accommodation contact for U.S. job seekers who need assistance accessing or applying for opportunities.
