About The Position

This is a hands-on server hardware and break/fix role providing on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware. The engineer diagnoses, repairs, replaces, and maintains server hardware in data center, field service, or customer-facing environments. Prior AI experience is not required; enterprise server and data center hardware experience is the priority. The role includes installation, removal, repair, and replacement of server components; rack-and-stack, cabling, deployment, and configuration; troubleshooting hardware, BIOS/firmware, operating systems, and diagnostics; and performing firmware and BIOS updates using tools such as Dell iDRAC or comparable platforms. The engineer carries out reactive break/fix and preventive maintenance according to established procedures, communicates with customers and internal technical teams, documents service activities and resolutions, and escalates complex issues when appropriate. Participation in on-call rotations and extended coverage may be required. The role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology. Applicants should be eligible for any required U.S. Government authorizations. Unisys is an equal opportunity employer and provides a process for applicants to request reasonable accommodation.
