About The Position

This is a hands-on server hardware and break/fix role providing on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware. The engineer diagnoses, repairs, replaces, and maintains hardware in data center, field service, or customer-facing environments. Prior AI experience is not required; direct experience with enterprise servers and data center hardware is the priority. The role includes installing, removing, replacing, and repairing server components; rack-and-stack work, cabling, and hardware configuration; troubleshooting hardware, BIOS/firmware, operating system, and diagnostic issues; performing firmware and BIOS updates; and using server management tools such as Dell iDRAC or comparable platforms. The engineer performs reactive break/fix and preventive maintenance, follows documented diagnostic procedures, works with customers and internal teams to resolve service events, documents work, and escalates complex issues when appropriate. Participation in on-call rotations and extended coverage may be required. The position may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology. Applicants should be eligible for any required U.S. Government authorizations. Unisys is an equal opportunity employer and offers reasonable accommodation assistance to job seekers who need it to express interest in employment.
