On-Call Coordinator

Cheer Home Care•San Diego, CA
•$73,000 - $75,000

About The Position

Cheer is a high-touch, client-focused home care company dedicated to delivering exceptional, compassionate care. The On-Call Coordinator oversees operations outside standard business hours, supporting clients and caregivers, ensuring seamless care delivery, and responding to urgent situations. This is an active coordination role involving schedule management, real-time decisions, and direct effects on client care—not a passive on-call position. An RN, LVN, or MSW is preferred. The role includes scheduled work hours and on-call triage hours. Scheduled shifts are Wednesday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. On-call availability follows those shifts: Wednesday through Friday from 8:30 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. the next morning, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. the next morning. Staff meetings are held Mondays at 9:15 a.m. and Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m., each for one hour. On-call availability is also required from 5:00 p.m. on the day before a holiday until 8:00 a.m. the day after the holiday. Mondays and Tuesdays are otherwise designated as days off. This is a salaried position with compensation of $73,000 to $75,000 based on experience, with an opportunity for performance-based bonuses.
