About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an On-Call Banquet Server to join the team at OKANA Resort and Indoor Water Park. This role is responsible for serving food and beverages to guests at banquet functions, setting up banquet rooms, and ensuring client satisfaction through friendly and efficient service. The Banquet Server will interact closely with event attendees and contribute to creating exceptional guest experiences in a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma required.
Previous experience as a Banquet Server preferred.
Good communication skills; Able to speak and understand English.
Customer centric approach in dealing with the public and co-workers.
Physically able to lift and carry trays & remove soiled items from tables.

Responsibilities

Serving food and beverage to guests at banquet functions throughout the resort.
Setting tables with linens prior to functions according to the BEO (Banquet Event Order) specs.
Interacting closely with all event attendees.
Providing friendly and efficient service to ensure client satisfaction.
Keeping work areas clean and organized.
Knowing food preparation and service.
Reporting all unsafe conditions immediately.
Setting up banquet rooms for functions (chairs, tables, linens, etc.).
Solving unusual customer requests creatively.
Completing other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training.
