About The Position

The Banquet Server helps create memorable guest dining experiences through attentive, hospitable service. The role includes serving guests, handling orders and payments, maintaining menu knowledge, responding to guest requests, and supporting the cleanliness and organization of restaurant and kitchen areas. The server also assists with food and beverage inventory activities and works collaboratively with other hotel departments to support hotel goals.

Requirements

Previous food handling, fast food, or serving experience.
Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, write, type, and use basic technology.
Ability to stand and move around for an entire shift.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

An Alcohol Server's Permit may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

Serve restaurant and room service guests attentively and efficiently.
Maintain complete knowledge of the menu and flexibly and creatively meet guest requests.
Use problem-solving skills to resolve guest issues to their satisfaction.
Complete guest orders and accurately collect payments.
Assist with the quality, cleanliness, and organization of the restaurant and kitchen.
Assist with inventory, ordering, and receiving food and beverage items.
Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
