About The Position

The On Call Banquet Server provides food and beverage service for events and supports banquet setup, room refreshes, and event breakdown. The role includes preparing banquet spaces according to the BEO, setting up breaks, buffets, and drink stations, anticipating guest needs, and responding appropriately to guest concerns and requests. The position is on call.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is a plus but is not required.
• Previous experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional food and beverage service and demonstrate a passion for events.
• Ensure banquet setups are accurate according to the BEO, including tables, linen, glassware, cutlery, centerpieces, food and bar stations, and décor.
• Help set up breaks, buffets, and drink stations.
• Help refresh meeting rooms for the next day.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Assist with event breakdown, including clearing and storing banquet tables, cleaning service stations, and bringing used glassware and cutlery to the dishwasher.
