About The Position

Midwest Communications, Inc. is seeking a part-time On-Air Talent / Brand Ambassador for its Fargo team, working across Y94, 101.9 Jack FM, and Froggy 99.9. The role combines on-air communication with community engagement and promotional work. The employee will connect with listeners, represent station brands at community events, and help create engaging experiences for audiences. The position also offers exposure to behind-the-scenes radio operations and opportunities to grow within the company.

Requirements

• Have a drive to create strong radio content, grow an audience, strengthen the brand, and contribute to a collaborative team.
• Hold a valid North Dakota driver’s license.
• Be able to pass a motor vehicle check and a satisfactory background check.

Nice To Haves

• Prior media experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate naturally on air by telling stories, entertaining audiences, and making listeners feel included in the conversation.
• Attend station and promotional events to strengthen the brands’ presence in the Fargo community.
• Assist with giveaways, contests, event setup, campaigns, live music, and other promotional activities.
• Learn and assist with audio editing, show preparation, broadcast operations, and other day-to-day station responsibilities.
