About The Position

AsstrA is an international logistics and transportation holding company with more than 1,000 employees and over 30 years in the market. It provides international shipping by various transport modes, import and export organization, consolidation, customs clearance, and cargo insurance. The Ocean Freight Forwarder executes and coordinates international sea-freight orders, works with service providers and clients, prepares quotations and shipping documentation, and coordinates with internal departments and international offices. The role includes monitoring KPIs and contributing to the development of the company’s ocean freight division.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the maritime transportation market.
• At least 3 years of experience with key players in maritime transportation.
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics or transportation.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
• Customer-oriented and self-motivated.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of additional foreign languages.

Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate freight forwarding orders in international sea transport.
• Select subcontractors and negotiate rates and cooperation terms with service providers, including road and intermodal carriers, shipping lines, and customs agencies.
• Develop relationships with clients, including newly acquired clients.
• Ensure the quality of provided services.
• Prepare price offers for quotations and tenders with the sales specialist and TL manager, develop alternative solutions, and ensure they meet customer requirements.
• Prepare freight forwarding documentation and documentation for export and import customs clearance.
• Cooperate daily with company operational departments, international offices, and other AsstrA divisions.
• Monitor the implementation of KPIs.
