About The Position
PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to provide care for a diverse patient population. The role provides direct patient care and plans and implements individual treatment programs according to occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health system, under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. The assistant must be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities and may perform other related duties as assigned or requested. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment and desire to learn is welcomed.
Requirements
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Remain flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
