About The Position
PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to provide care to a diverse patient population. The role involves direct patient care and planning and implementing individualized treatment programs under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, following occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health system. The assistant must be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities and may perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment and desire to learn is sought; one year of clinical experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Remain flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
