About The Position
PAM Health is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) for its South Point Rehab inpatient rehabilitation hospital, which is opening this winter. The assistant provides direct patient care and plans and implements individualized treatment programs according to occupational therapy principles and practices under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. The role requires flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Remain flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
