About The Position
PAM Health is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) for its new Dallas rehabilitation hospital. The assistant provides direct patient care and, under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, plans and implements individualized treatment programs according to occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health system. The role requires flexibility to meet the needs of the system across different facilities. The hospital cares for chronically and critically ill patients who need extended hospital care. Prior inpatient hospital experience is preferred, though applicants who are committed to learning are also encouraged.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification is required.

- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Remain flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
