About The Position
PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to provide care to a diverse patient population. The role involves direct patient care and planning and implementing individualized treatment programs according to occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health system. The assistant works under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and must be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities. Other related duties may be assigned or requested. Prior inpatient hospital experience is welcomed, as is a commitment and willingness to learn.
Requirements
- Current license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment and willingness to learn.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Remain flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
