About The Position

PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to provide care to a diverse patient population. The role delivers direct patient care and plans and implements individualized treatment programs according to occupational therapy principles and practices, under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. The assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities and performs other related duties as assigned or requested. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care.

Requirements

Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
Current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

Prior inpatient hospital experience or a demonstrated desire and commitment to learn.
One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices.
Remain flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
