About The Position
PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to provide care to a diverse patient population at Wiregrass Ranch Rehab. The role involves direct patient care and planning and implementing individual treatment programs according to occupational therapy principles and practices, under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. The assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities and perform other related duties as assigned or requested. PAM Health provides specialty healthcare services for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Requirements
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices.
