About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Occupational Therapists for PRN positions in Clairemont, California, and surrounding areas. The organization provides neurological rehabilitation for people with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses in patients’ homes and communities. Occupational Therapists work one-on-one with patients as part of interdisciplinary teams that develop integrated treatment plans. Treatment is individualized, evidence-based, and designed to build functional skills through activities practiced in patients’ homes and communities. The organization serves patients across the continuum, from severe brain injury through job readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers.
Nice To Haves
- Professional certification or a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred.
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving upper-extremity function, ADLs and IADLs, visual and perceptual skills, cognitive needs, adaptive equipment needs, and assistive technology needs.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement integrated treatment plans in patients’ homes and communities.
