About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Occupational Therapists for PRN positions serving Durham, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. The organization provides neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses. Interdisciplinary teams develop integrated treatment plans and provide individualized, one-on-one care in functional settings. Therapists use creative activities to engage patients while addressing functional goals through an evidence-based approach.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and coworkers.
Nice To Haves
- Professional certification or a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving upper-extremity function, activities of daily living (ADLs), and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Evaluate and treat visual and perceptual skills and cognitive needs.
- Evaluate and address adaptive equipment and assistive technology needs.
