About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Occupational Therapists to provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities in the Macon, Georgia area and surrounding locations. The organization provides treatment for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses. Therapists work one-on-one with patients as part of interdisciplinary teams that develop integrated treatment plans and use creative, evidence-based activities to address functional goals and support durable outcomes. Services are tailored to patients’ needs across the continuum, from severe brain injury through job readiness.
Requirements
- Completion of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with families, professionals, and co-workers.
Nice To Haves
- Professional certification or a master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving upper extremity function, activities of daily living (ADLs), and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Evaluate and treat visual and perceptual skills and cognitive needs.
- Evaluate and address adaptive equipment and assistive technology needs.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to provide individualized treatment in patients’ homes and communities.
