About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Occupational Therapists to provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities in Kerrville, Texas, and surrounding areas. The organization treats traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses. Therapists work one-on-one with patients as part of interdisciplinary teams that develop integrated treatment plans and use creative, evidence-based activities to address functional goals and support durable outcomes. Services are individualized for patients across the continuum, from severe brain injury through job readiness. PRN positions are available.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers.
Nice To Haves
- Professional certification or a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving upper-extremity function, activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), visual and perceptual skills, cognitive needs, adaptive equipment needs, and assistive technology needs.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans that are practiced in patients’ homes and communities.
- Provide individualized, one-on-one rehabilitation and use activities to address patients’ functional goals.
