About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Occupational Therapists for PRN positions in Irvine, California, and surrounding areas. The organization provides neurological rehabilitation for people with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses in patients’ homes and communities. Occupational Therapists work one-on-one with patients as part of interdisciplinary teams, contributing to integrated treatment plans that are practiced in functional home and community settings. Treatment is individualized and evidence-based, and therapists use creative activities to engage patients while addressing functional goals. Patients may be at any point on the continuum, from severe brain injury through job readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and coworkers.
Nice To Haves
- Professional certification or a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred.
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving upper-extremity function, activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), visual and perceptual skills, and cognitive needs.
- Evaluate and address adaptive equipment and assistive technology needs.
- Contribute to individualized, integrated treatment plans practiced in patients’ homes and communities.
