About The Position

This travel temporary assignment supports an inpatient, adult-focused acute care setting. The OT will plan and conduct segments of treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions while aligning with department objectives.

Requirements

Experience in Adult Acute Rehab, Neuro, ICU, or Cardiovascular populations
Experience with Epic EMR; Cerner experience is a plus
Ability to work 40 hours per week, in a days shift (5x8)
Travel assignment or willingness to relocate/time-shift for accommodation as required
Start date: 08/31/2026; Contract duration aligned to 13 weeks

Nice To Haves

Experience in Adult Acute Rehab, Neuro, ICU, and Cardiovascular populations preferred
Epic EMR experience required or strongly preferred; Cerner experience a plus

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct targeted segments of treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions for adult acute care patients.
Serve as co-leader in an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
Perform OT evaluations, formulate goals, implement treatment plans, and monitor patient progress in collaboration with the care team.
Document timely progress notes and outcomes in Epic; Cerner experience is a plus and preferred when available.
Provide patient and caregiver education, and support transition to next level of care or home, including home exercise programs and device training as appropriate.
