About The Position

This is a travel occupational therapist position for an acute care assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The assignment is for 13 weeks with guaranteed 35 hours per week. The role involves performing OT evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, delivering therapy interventions, reassessing progress, documenting outcomes, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team for adult patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license in New Mexico or eligibility
• Master’s or higher degree from an ACOTE-accredited OT program
• Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment
• Strong assessment, documentation, and team-communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in acute care or skilled nursing facility settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform OT evaluations for adults in the SNF setting to guide goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing ADLs, mobility, and discharge readiness.
• Deliver therapy interventions to improve functional performance and independence.
• Reassess progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and maintain clear communication with patients and families.
