About The Position

PARS Therapy is seeking a committed home health Occupational Therapist serving the North Dallas, Texas area. The Occupational Therapist supports patients’ recovery by helping restore movement and enabling clients to reach their potential. The role integrates promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation to improve patients’ quality of life and mobility. Home health services are provided to homebound clients who meet Medicare home health coverage criteria.

Requirements

• Active occupational therapy license in Texas.
• Occupational therapist liability insurance in Texas.
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices.
• Friendly and professional demeanor when explaining procedures and treatments.

Nice To Haves

• Home health or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services to eligible homebound home health clients.
• Support patients’ recovery, restore movement, and help clients achieve their potential.
• Integrate promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation into patient care.
