About The Position

PARS Therapy is seeking a committed home health Occupational Therapist serving the North Dallas, Texas area. The therapist will support patients' recovery by helping restore movement and enabling clients to achieve their potential. The role integrates promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation to improve patients' quality of life and mobility.

The home health positions provide skilled services to people who meet the criteria for Medicare home health coverage. These homebound clients may receive services from a nurse, physical therapist, speech therapist, or occupational therapist.

Requirements

• Active occupational therapy license in the state of Texas.
• Occupational therapist liability insurance in the state of Texas.
• Graduate degree or greater in Occupational Therapy.
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices.

Nice To Haves

• Home health or rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services to eligible homebound clients receiving Medicare home health coverage.
• Support patients' recovery by helping restore movement and improve mobility and quality of life.
• Integrate promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation into patient care.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients in a friendly and professional manner.
