About The Position

PARS Therapy is seeking a committed home health Occupational Therapist to serve patients in the South Dallas, Texas area. The role supports patients’ recovery by restoring movement and helping clients achieve their potential. Care integrates promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation to improve patients’ quality of life and mobility.

Home health positions provide skilled services to people who meet Medicare home health coverage criteria. These homebound clients may receive services from nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, or occupational therapists.

Requirements

• Active occupational therapy license in Texas.
• Occupational therapist liability insurance in Texas.
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices.
• Friendly and professional demeanor when explaining procedures and treatments.

Nice To Haves

• Home health or rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services to homebound clients who meet Medicare home health coverage criteria.
• Help patients restore movement and improve mobility and quality of life through promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients in a friendly and professional manner.
