About The Position
PAM Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist to join its brand-new Dallas rehabilitation hospital, which is opening this fall. The role provides care to a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Prior inpatient hospital experience is welcome, though the employer also welcomes candidates with a desire and commitment to learn. The Occupational Therapist is primarily responsible for direct patient care and for planning and implementing age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices and the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to the further development of services, requires flexibility to meet the System’s needs across different facilities, and includes other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification.

- One year of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices and the PAM Health System.
- Contribute to the further development of services.
- Remain flexible to meet the needs of the System within different facilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
