Occupational Therapist (Clarksville North)
About The Position
STAR Physical Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist for its Clarksville North location. The therapist evaluates patients referred by physicians and develops and administers treatment plans, including manual techniques, exercises, and modalities. The role also includes assessing and fitting patients for splints and adaptive devices, supervising COTAs, maintaining compliant documentation, and managing therapy supplies and equipment. The Occupational Therapist helps coordinate appointments and contributes to policy development, quality assurance, program growth, marketing, public relations, and professional education activities.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited college with an AOTA curriculum.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Tennessee.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in an autonomous environment.
- Basic PC skills and knowledge, including electronic medical record (EMR) systems, database software, and MS Office.
- Exercise and manual-based skills, and sports rehabilitation.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of outpatient orthopedic experience within a private clinic or hospital is preferred.
- New or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
