About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Occupational Therapists for PRN positions serving Fredericksburg, Texas, and surrounding areas. The organization provides neurological rehabilitation for people with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses in patients’ homes and communities. Occupational Therapists work within interdisciplinary teams to develop integrated treatment plans and provide individualized, evidence-based, one-on-one care in functional settings. Treatment incorporates engaging activities to address patients’ functional goals and support durable outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and coworkers.
Nice To Haves
- Professional certification or a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving upper extremity function, activities of daily living (ADLs), and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Evaluate and treat visual and perceptual skills and cognitive needs.
- Evaluate and address adaptive equipment and assistive technology needs.
