About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Occupational Therapists for PRN positions in the Charlotte, North Carolina area and surrounding communities. The organization provides neurological rehabilitation for people with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses in patients’ homes and communities. Occupational Therapists work within interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans and provide individualized, one-on-one care. Treatment is practiced in patients’ homes and communities, using creative activities to engage patients while addressing functional goals through an evidence-based approach. The organization supports patients across the continuum, from severe brain injury through job readiness.
Requirements
- Completion of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and coworkers.
Nice To Haves
- Professional certification or a master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving upper-extremity function, activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), visual and perceptual skills, cognitive needs, adaptive equipment needs, and assistive technology needs.
