About The Position
Northwestern Medicine Health Network is seeking a part-time OB/GYN Hospitalist to join its Women's Health team at NM Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital. This hospital-based position is in a collaborative, physician-led environment focused on patient safety, quality outcomes, and work-life balance. The integrated care model combines office-based and hospital-based OB/GYN services, allowing hospitalists to focus on labor, delivery, and inpatient care while supporting exceptional patient outcomes. The role includes a 24/7 in-house labor and delivery coverage model and focuses on inpatient obstetrics and emergent gynecologic care. The hospitalist works with OB/GYN physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and specialists. The position is employed, part-time, and offers flexible scheduling and competitive compensation. Requirements
- Board eligible or board certified (BE/BC).
Responsibilities
- Provide hospital-based OB/GYN care, focusing on labor, delivery, and inpatient care.
- Provide inpatient obstetric care and emergent gynecologic care.
- Participate in the 24/7 in-house labor and delivery coverage model.
- Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and specialists.
