About The Position

As a PRN physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. On an as-needed basis, you will provide care through restricted OB/GYN hospitalist shifts and clinic shifts. You may provide care in three OB/GYN clinics in Brighton, Commerce City, and Thornton, Colorado, just north of Denver. Hospitalist shifts take place at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, home to a level II NICU and a thriving Labor & Delivery Unit. The hospital is designated Baby-Friendly and has been ranked highly in Women’s Choice Awards Best Hospitals for Obstetrics and Emergency Care. Anesthesia is available in-house 24/7 with backup, and maternal-fetal medicine is onsite in Brighton two days per week and available 24/7 for consultation. Clinic shifts are generally eight hours and pay $1,528.00 per shift. OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts are 12 hours and pay $2,143.00 per shift; shifts may be stacked in 24-hour increments. Intermountain Health pays 100% of malpractice coverage.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• ACGME-accredited residency training in OB/GYN.
• Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN.
• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Federal DEA Registration.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN care on an as-needed basis through restricted hospitalist and clinic shifts.
• Provide care at OB/GYN clinics in Brighton, Commerce City, and Thornton, Colorado, as needed.
• Provide OB/GYN hospitalist care at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, Colorado.
