OB/GYN Hospitalist
About The Position
This inpatient-only physician role is an opportunity to help establish the culture, workflows, and growth of a new flagship OB hospitalist service line. The physician will focus on clinical care, patient safety, and continuity of care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide evidence-based interventions for complex and high-acuity cases across regional facilities. The role is within a nonprofit Catholic health system and offers a choice of three initial sites with high, medium, and low acuity. The NICU is staffed by Dell Children's Neonatologists. Full-time schedules are 120 hours per month and part-time schedules are 60 hours per month; flexible 12-hour or 24-hour shifts are available. Physicians may choose full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules.
Requirements
- MD or DO credentialed by the Texas Medical Board before the hire date or job transfer date.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
