About The Position
The Nursing Assistant works in the CFH Surgical Unit and supports patient care under the direction of the Director/Manager and Registered Nurses (RNs). The role assists with basic physical care and nursing procedures, provides comfort measures, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment. The position is full-time on the day shift and focuses on patient care, comfort, safety, and support for the nursing team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Nice To Haves
- Post-high-school specialized training.
- Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
