About The Position

The Nursing Assistant supports patient care in the CFH Medical Unit, bringing comfort and compassionate care to patient interactions. Under the direction of the Director/Manager and registered nurses (RNs), the Nursing Assistant provides basic physical care and nursing procedures, assists with patient comfort measures, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment. The role involves hands-on patient support and working alongside the nursing team throughout the day.

This is a full-time, day-shift position with a schedule of 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Post-high-school specialized training preferred.
• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic physical care and nursing procedures under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs.
• Assist with patient comfort measures.
