About The Position
Under the direction of the Director/Manager and Registered Nurses (RNs), the Nursing Assistant supports patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, comfort measures, and assistance in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment. The role focuses on hands-on patient care, comfort, safety, and rehabilitation support to help patients regain strength and independence. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week night-shift position in the CFH Rehab department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- BLS certification required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Nice To Haves
- Post-high-school specialized training preferred.
- Valid Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic physical care and nursing procedures.
- Provide comfort measures to patients.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
- Support patients during rehabilitation and recovery.
