About The Position
As a Certified Nursing Aide at Waterford at Baytown, you will help create a welcoming, safe, and caring home for residents. You will work closely with the team to deliver care and a positive community experience, using kindness, attention to detail, and dependable teamwork. The role is offered for evening shifts from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with full-time, part-time, and PRN options available.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- A caring attitude and reliable attendance.
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred, but not required.
- High school graduate or GED.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care.
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts, and transfers.
- Assist residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing proper fluid requirements, and offering substitutions when appropriate.
- Remind residents to take medication and open containers and packages for them.
- Recognize changes in residents’ behavior and conditions and report those changes to the Assisted Living Director.
