About The Position
As a Certified Nursing Aide at Waterford at Baytown, you will help create a welcoming, safe, and caring home for residents. Working with the team, you will contribute to the care and experience of the community through attentive, dependable support. The role includes providing personal care, helping with meals and nutrition, reminding residents to take medication, and observing and reporting changes in residents’ behavior or condition.
Requirements
- Maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have a caring attitude and reliable attendance.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred but not required.
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care.
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts, and transfers.
- Assist with residents’ nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing appropriate fluids, and offering substitutions when appropriate.
- Remind residents to take medication and open containers and packages for them.
- Recognize changes in residents’ behavior and conditions and report them to the Assisted Living Director.
