About The Position

Conagra Brands is hiring a Blending Operator at its Louisville, Kentucky facility to produce ingredients for biscuits, hotcakes, and McGriddle. The operator removes packaging from raw ingredients supplied in bags and boxes and feeds them into a food-industry-size blender. Ingredients are deposited into the blender according to the product recipe. The role also includes sanitation and preventive maintenance of blending equipment and the blending department, and staging ingredients and placing bins using a forklift. The position reports to the department Team Lead and works the 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift. Overtime may be scheduled daily and on weekends.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience.
Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds.
Use of a respirator is required; minimal facial hair is necessary to pass respirator fit certification.

Ability to understand basic machine operations and settings.

Responsibilities

Deposit raw ingredients into the blender according to the recipe for the product being produced.
Remove packaging from raw ingredients and feed them into the blender.
Perform sanitation and preventive maintenance of blending equipment and the blending department.
Use a forklift to stage raw ingredients and place bins.
Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, personal protective equipment requirements, and Conagra policies.
Remain aware of food safety risks and escalate identified risks to the lead or supervisor.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
