About The Position

Avante at Jacksonville Beach is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and perform day-to-day nursing activities. The role follows current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility and direction from the Director of Nursing Services, Assistant Director of Nursing Services, and Administrator to maintain the highest degree of quality care. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available across all shifts, with shift differentials offered. The position is based in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Applicants must complete background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements

• Be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and meet applicable federal and state licensure requirements.
• Speak and understand English.
• Be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
• Have a positive attitude toward the elderly.
• Complete required background screening through the AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
