Nurses (LPN or RN) 12 hr Shifts
About The Position
Avante at Ormond Beach is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide direct nursing care to residents. The nurse performs day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility and as directed by the Director of Nursing Services, Assistant Director of Nursing Services, and Administrator, ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained. Full-time and part-time positions are available for 12-hour shifts: 7 a.m.–7 p.m. and 7 p.m.–7 a.m. Shift differential is offered, along with daily pay. The role is located at Avante at Ormond Beach in Ormond Beach, Florida.
Requirements
- Hold an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing and meet applicable federal and state licensure requirements.
- Speak and understand English.
- Be knowledgeable about nursing and medical practices and procedures, and the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
- Have a positive attitude toward the elderly.
- Complete the required background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
