About The Position
Avante at Ormond Beach is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and perform day-to-day nursing activities. The nurse follows applicable federal, state, and local standards governing the facility, as well as direction from the Director of Nursing Services, Assistant Director of Nursing Services, and Administrator, to maintain the highest degree of quality care. The role is available full-time or part-time, with all shifts available and shift differential offered. Avante specializes in skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation, and post-acute services and promotes a supportive environment with opportunities for advancement and professional growth. The position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and meet applicable federal and state licensure requirements.
- Must speak and understand English.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
- Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly.
- Must complete background screening through the AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
