About The Position

Avante at Melbourne is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and carry out day-to-day nursing activities. The position follows current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility and works under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services, Assistant Director of Nursing Services, and Administrator to maintain the highest degree of quality care. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with all shifts offered and shift differentials available. The posting advertises daily pay. Requirements

Hold an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing and meet applicable federal and state licensure requirements.
Speak and understand English.
Be knowledgeable about nursing and medical practices and procedures, and the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Have a positive attitude toward the elderly.
Complete required background screening through the AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
