About The Position
Ahava Healthcare of Clarksville is seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join its care team. The nurse plays an essential role in resident care and works in a team-driven environment. This is a full-time night-shift position from 6 PM to 6 AM in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted LPN or RN license for the state of Tennessee.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Direct the daily activities of the CNAs and ensure nursing personnel follow policies and procedures.
- Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers as required.
- Assess resident conditions and prepare and administer medications according to physician orders.
- Initiate, review, and update care plans.
- Report changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse supervisor and keep the supervisor informed of factors that interfere with assigned work.
- Perform other duties assigned by clinical or administrative leadership.
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information in verbal, written, and electronic communications.
