About The Position

Gateway Rehab Center is hiring a full-time LPN or RN at its Center Township, Pennsylvania location. The schedule will vary. Nurses provide direct patient care, including administering medications and carrying out therapeutic treatments, in an extended care facility treating people with substance use disorders.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current state licensure as a registered or practical nurse.
CPR certification.
Ability to perform necessary medical interventions when needed.
Good judgment, decision-making, and leadership skills for nursing-related patient care.
Complete a Pennsylvania criminal background check.
Obtain Pennsylvania Child Abuse and FBI fingerprinting clearances.
Pass a drug screen.
Complete a two-step TB test.

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience in the nursing field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer medications.
Carry out prescribed therapeutic treatments.
Document nursing observations and patient care rendered.
Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
Coordinate with GRC departments as appropriate.
Provide patient health education.
Perform necessary medical interventions when needed.
Take responsibility for nursing-related patient care using sound judgment, decision-making, and leadership skills.
