About The Position
The RN or LPN in a medical office provides essential patient care and support under the direction of a provider. The role combines clinical duties with administrative support to help ensure efficient patient care and office operations. Medical coverage is available on the first day of employment; all other benefits take effect on the first day of the month following the hire date.
Requirements
- Valid RN or LPN license in the State of Indiana.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations.
- Administer medications and injections.
- Dress wounds and assist with minor surgeries.
- Triage incoming calls requiring nurse assessment.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Clean and sterilize instruments.
- Manage supply inventory.
- Conduct laboratory tests.
- Record electrocardiograms.
- Perform secretarial duties as needed.
